Due to work I have not been able to shop for new years eve until today. Phew! That was crazy! As you might or might not know we here in Sweden have a state monopoly on selling alcoholic beverages. So there are only three liqouer shops (Systembolag) in the city. Two of them are about 5 km away from where I live (I'm bicykeling remember), the only one conviniently accessible from where I live is in the city's center.

I had to stand in a line for 15 minutes just to get in to the Systembolaget. And then stand in line for another 20 minutes to get out of there...

My niece is coming over to night and I'm doing a lot of cooking- well really I opted for t5he easy solution, we are going to have Tapas.

But before that we (my niece and my son) is going to watch the midnight fireworks at at the Kings Park at 5.45 pm. That's right, there are mostly elderly people living around the Kings Park and they have complained, so the fireworks will be fired offf at 5.45 instead of at midnight!- Sigh!
